Candler Park

Named after Coca-Cola magnate Asa Griggs Candler, who donated the land for the park of its same name, this adorable urban enclave is in the middle of Decatur, Kirkwood, Edgewood, Poncey-Highland, Virginia-Highland, and Druid Hills. It’s an “everyone friendly” community that attracts families of all ages as well as those who enjoy the eclectic nature of its next-door Little Five Points area.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in September 1983, Candler Park offers the best of everything intown. From a MARTA station to a nine-hole golf course, you can get to just about everywhere you would possibly want to go without using your car. Visitors love Candler Park too: they love to run and ride around the park, and enjoy music, art, and a tour of homes during the neighborhood’s annual festival, Fall Fest.

Candler Park ranges in home styles too. Just like its neighbors, it offers early 1900’s craftsman-style bungalows as well as attached residences like townhomes and duplexes. With easy access – and transportation – to many popular ITP attractions and things to do, Candler Park should definitely be a consideration for you.
