Ormewood Park

Ormewood Park is east side of Grant Park, west of East Atlanta, and south of Reynoldstown. Named after Aquilla J. Orme, an official with the Atlanta Electric Light and Trolley Company, the area was born in the early 1900s.

In addition to the typical Craftsman and shotgun homes from its beginnings, Ormewood also still has some brick cottages and prefabricated “catalog” homes too. With all of its growth, the neighborhood has had its fair share of new builds and renovations as well as the development of Glenwood Park. Glenwood Park is a mixed-use development of retail businesses, townhomes and single-family homes, giving residents even easier access to shop, play, and eat.

Needless to say, Ormewood Park is HOT. It’s a tight-knot community that accommodates a healthy mix of diversity, from new homeowners to empty nesters, professionals, families, and everyone in between. Check-out this neighborhood before everything is gone!
